On Thursday, Oct. 22, the NJCAA Network, the new home for NJCAA digital content will re-air the 2019 NJCAA DI Women's Soccer Championship pool game between No. 4 Lewis & Clark (IL) and No. 5 Hill (TX). The match included two upbeat soccer programs and went into overtime play as Hill rose to victory after an extra time goal by Jami Anderson.
In the final day of pool play action, the Rebels and Trailblazers went head-to-head but it was Hill that posessed an early 2-0 lead. In the second half, Lewis & Clark answered with two goals in under 10 minutes to tie the match, but Hill's Anderson scored a much-needed goal in early overtime to win 4-3. The matchup included All-Tournament Team members Cassie Hall and Boitumelo Rabale of Lewis & Clark and Risa Yamada of Hill. The Trailblazers fell in the semifinals to No. 1 Monroe (NY) and completed their season with a 20-4 overall record.
