CHARLOTTE, N.C. – RQ+, the leading officiating services technology platform, and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), the premier governing body for two-year college athletics, are proud to announce a new partnership aimed at benefitting officiating across NJCAA's 500+ member institutions and the NJCAA Championships. This collaboration, made possible through the support of the NCAA, will deliver innovative tools and resources to enhance the experience for officials, coaches, and institutional leadership.
The partnership integrates RQ+'s platform with NJCAA's extensive network of institutions and sports. By leveraging RQ+'s officiating technology, this initiative will streamline officiating processes, foster professional development, and enhance the student-athlete experience.
Benefits for Stakeholders:
Officials: NJCAA officials in all sports with an NCAA central hub will now receive registration benefits that include general and professional liability insurance, accident/medical insurance, welcome packet with rules books and case books, as well as the ability to consent to the NCAA background check for eligibility purposes. Additionally, officials will experience consistent and timely payments for NJCAA championships that use RQ Pay.
Coaches and Institutional Leadership: Coaches, game day administrators, and athletic directors will benefit with access to their respective sport's central hub to access the rules books, educational content, rules clarifications, and other relevant information that will enhance game-day engagement with game management representatives and officials. Also available are tools for efficient resource management, eligibility tracking, and communication tools to support and ensure the game day experience is seamless.
