
DI Softball World Series to return to Yuma in 2025
Charlotte, NC– The 2025 NJCAA Division I Softball World Series will be hosted by Arizona Western College as announced by the NJCAA.
Arizona Western will host the 20-team national tournament at the Pacific Avenue Athletic Complex in Yuma, AZ, from May 20-24, 2025.
"We are incredibly excited to welcome back the NJCAA DI Softball World Series to Yuma in 2025 and are looking forward to, once again, hosting the best NJCAA DI softball teams in the country at the Pacific Avenue Athletic Complex," said Jerry Smith, Athletic Director of Arizona Western. "Arizona Western College and the City of Yuma are committed to putting on a quality event that showcases the NJCAA, Arizona Western College, and the community of Yuma. We are eager to get to work on planning this great event that will bring visitors from all over the country to our great community."
The Pacific Avenue Athletic Complex was home to the NJCAA Division I Softball World Series in 2021 and 2022.
"We look forward to having this championship in Yuma once again," stated Brian Luckett, NJCAA Senior Vice President for External Affairs & Development. "Arizona Western has a history of providing a first-class championship experience for all the student-athletes, coaches, and fans in attendance."
The 2023 and 2024 NJCAA Division I Softball World Series will be held at Choccolocco Park in Oxford, AL. Beginning in 2024, the tournament field will expand from 16 teams to feature 20 teams including 16 automatic qualifiers and four at-large selections.
