
2024 and 2025 DIII Softball World Series locations announced
Charlotte, NC - The NJCAA has announced two upcoming locations for the NJCAA Division III Softball World Series. Chattanooga Sports will serve as the host in 2024 and Herkimer College will host the four-day national tournament in 2025.
Chattanooga Sports will host the eight-team national tournament at Frost Stadium & Warner Park in Chattanooga, TN, from May 22-25, 2024. This will mark the first year that Chattanooga Sports has hosted an NJCAA national tournament.
Herkimer will host the national tournament at Carrier Park in Dewitt, NY, May 21-24, 2025.
"Herkimer is grateful to the NJCAA for being selected as the host institution of the 2025 NJCAA Division III Women's Softball World Series," said Donnie Dutcher, Herkimer College Director of Athletics. "Herkimer College along with the Town of DeWitt will take great pride in providing and improving on past championship experiences for the student-athletes, coaches, families, friends, and community involved with the tournament. It is a unique opportunity for Herkimer, the Town of DeWitt along with Visit Syracuse to be part of the national spotlight in showcasing a high-level softball."
Herkimer College has hosted the DIII Softball World Series at Carrier Park since 2021.
"The NJCAA is excited to have these host sites for the 2024 and 2025 DIII Softball World Series," stated Brian Luckett, NJCAA Senior Vice President for External Affairs & Development. "We look forward to seeing how this national tournament continues to grow and further the sport of softball at the two-year level."
The 2023 NJCAA Division III Softball World Series will be held at Carrier Park in Dewitt, NY, from May 24-27.
